Super Simple Salmon Cakes

Only 4 simple ingredients in these delicious seafood cakes made with convenient and healthy canned wild salmon.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (7.5 ounce) wild caught sockeye salmon
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend (see notes)
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

Instructions

  • Drain the salmon and dump it into a small bowl. Mash it with a fork and then add the egg and seasoning. Mix well.
  • Form into 5 cakes (2 inches in diameter).
  • Pan fry in olive oil over medium high heat in a non-stick skillet, 3-5 minutes per side, until golden brown.

Notes

You can substitute 1¼ teaspoons of dried dill, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper for the Trader Joe’s Everything Bagel Seasoning
