Super Simple Salmon Cakes
Only 4 simple ingredients in these delicious seafood cakes made with convenient and healthy canned wild salmon.
Servings: 5 servings
- 1 can (7.5 ounce) wild caught sockeye salmon
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend (see notes)
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
Drain the salmon and dump it into a small bowl. Mash it with a fork and then add the egg and seasoning. Mix well.
Form into 5 cakes (2 inches in diameter).
Pan fry in olive oil over medium high heat in a non-stick skillet, 3-5 minutes per side, until golden brown.
You can substitute 1¼ teaspoons of dried dill, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper for the Trader Joe’s Everything Bagel Seasoning
